Played on warm December day, not expecting great conditions - just grateful to play. Our tee time started about 10 minutes behind schedule. It was apparent why when we got to the tee box. There was a 5-some on the box, 5-some in the hole a 5-some in the fairway. That's not the worst part, the field was being led by a 6-some!!! Apparently, a Men's League Skin Game was going on. It's bad enough to have 5-some's, but add they're playing for money and you can imagine how the round went. At least there would be a marshal to keep things moving on a busy morning, right? NOPE!! Not a single staff member on the course. To no one's surprise, it was 3-hours to complete the front-9. We walked off the course. I hadn't played there in several years due to the rude pro shop personnel, well that's been resolved. The staff was friendly. But whomever made a decision to put out 5-some/6-some clearly has no idea of how to manage a golf course! I fully understand supporting your members, but at the cost of any walk-up business is ludicrous. I live less than 3-miles away from this course and I won't play it again. If you change the ownership or management, please advertise it and I'll come back to try it again. Until then, I'd rather go play Patty Jewett or even Valley Hi for better course conditions and a much cheaper price.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I won't play again, I wouldn't recommend this course, Worse than average course for the area, Better courses for less nearby
