High Desert with great views of the surrounding mountains. Lapine State Park is close and is a great place to stay if you have an RV. It's especially a nice course to play if you want to combine golf with other outdoor activities in the area. The High Desert Museum on up towards Bend is very worthwhile.
The greens and fairways are kept up very well. The staff is very friendly. While you won't get gourmet food at the clubhouse, they do make a great hamburger. I look forward to playing the course again and other courses in the area.
