Excellent track, not flashy, just rock solid & relentless. Great variety of well-designed holes. Known for long & difficult par 3s and strategically placed trees. Plays longer than it is & slopes high for length due to elevated greens and soft aprons- Must land approach shots on the green to score. Very tricky medium-fast greens. Front nine typically tight Low-Country track. Back nine more open Parklands-style course with beautiful flowering trees. Superb proshop staff and food service. Very reasonable guest fees when playing with a member.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
