Club changed hands and name in last year. Now called Palmilla Beach Club. I have played here several times since it opened and always enjoy it. It is a links style course, built in the dunes and along the beach of the Gulf of Mexico in Port Aransas Texas. When the wind is really blowing it can be very difficult to control your ball but the fairways are generously wide. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. A fun golf course that truly reminds me of the best links courses in Scotland and Ireland. Definitely worth a trip, especially if you take the Aransas ferry to get to the island. You might even see a few dolphins.
