San Antonio
2009-07-26
$36 (cart included), played on Friday, July 2009 at 2pm
Gem hidden in the midst of San Antonio (10 minutes from airport). Course is well maintained with few homes visible from course. TIGHT course. Straight drives pay premium, with wayward drives costly. Accuracy important here. In spite of the very very dry conditions in south central Texas the course is holding up. Green fee of $39.11 on Friday afternoon a bargain. Course is challenging, but fair.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Difficulty, Layout, Price, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play
