Birch Hills is an 18 hole Executive course. It has 5 par 4's and 13 par 3's for a Par of 59. From what I understand, it closed, then reopened.
While it's mostly Par 3's and some short Par 4's (3 you can actually drive the green), the greens are a bit tricky and most holes play longer or shorter than their stated length. You can get through a round in less than 4 hours ... and that's on an extremely busy day. I've played it in less than 3 a few times, and I've shot my age (60) once. It's a goal of mine each time I play it.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
