I wouldn't plan a vacation just to play BV. This is a vacation/tourist area anyway, so if you can work in a round, it's a nice course. Some soggy fairways in winter, but great greens all year. Sometimes a bit difficult to get out as a walk on (singles easier). At times, it can be slow on weekends, following a men's club skins games for ex., or similar events. It's a muni, so you get a few groups occasionally that aren't necessarily regular golfers. I've played it numerous times and will continue to play there.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
