Washoe Golf Course is a little gem, a county course nestled in the middle of the city of Reno, Nevada. Founded in the 1920s, the current course was built in the early 30s as a Work Progress Administration Project. Tree-lined fairways, and well-maintained fairways and greens, provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The front nine is fairly flat, but the back nine has more elevation changes and two very challenging long par 4 holes, 12 and 15. The staff is friendly and there is an nice little restaurant in the clubhouse.
