The Greens Keeper is A-1 and the Members need to assure that the Board does whatever is reasonably possible to retain him. They need to give up on their deals for membership, advertising, etc. Steve, the Superintendent of the Course will take care of that by the fact that he has prepared the finest course in the area. We just need to get the word out, without paying for advertisement, maybe something like offering a reasonably price greens fee on Saturday and Sunday afternoon that one can see what we have to offer, as a "players course". The Ballston Spa Country Club needs to keep him(Steve) happy and cut out the bull.
The Restaurant is satisfactory, they need to be competitive with local establishments in quality and price. Perhaps offering a special of 1-3 offerings on Friday, Sat. or Sunday combined with entertainment.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, Pace of Play, Pro Shop
