Reopened in October, 2011. Oldest muny in Dallas designed by Jack Burke, Sr. in 1922 & redo by John Colligan. Hilly, tight tree-lined course that used to be "tricked-up". Very good re-design with small piece of land in that now the holes are challenging even though fairly short (6400-back).
Very popular course since reopening in 2011 so get a tee time or expect to wait. Pros are friendly and will work you into a group.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
