Counrty of Los Angeles should put a little more money into ths course. It really looks like it is deteriorating. In the past 12 months, I played this course 3 times and each time, the course is worse than the previous play. Fairways have a lot of bald areas, course staff are not cognizant that they are blocking play while they are working on the course. I will probably not play this course anymore. It seems when trying to make tee times, you can call the very minute they start to take tee times for the week ahead but cannot obtain a tee time until after noon time and this is a course not having a tournament that day. Once, I called the very minute when they started to take tee times for the week ahead and the phone rang for about 5 minutes with no one answer the phone and when they did, the earliest time I was informed was 1:20 pm. I asked how so many tee times were placed ahead of me when I am the first person to call. All I was told, the times have already been penciled in and no tournament is scheduled for that week.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Worse than average course for the area
