Thendara

$31 (cart not included), played on Saturday, September 2008 at 8pm
This is an exceptional Adirondack golf course. The front nine is early Donald Ross, built before 1920, the back nine is from the 1940's and winds through the woods along the Moose River. The course is not long but is great fun for players of all levels. When the greens are at tournament speed they will test the best players. I've played many Ross courses and this is among my favorites. An excellent course for players who like to walk. I prefer Thendara to the great vintage courses in Lake Placid and the renowned Sagamore course.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
Condition of Course, Layout, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play, Staff
