I was a visitor from out of town. I travel a lot and play wherever I go. The Detroit area has lots of good public golf. This course was highly reccomended by many locals. It did not disappoint. The layout was beautiful and challenging. Very rustic, wooded, not a house in sight. Lots of elevation changes. Holes were varied. It was in great shape considering it had just opened for the season and had been covered in snow ten days earlier.
Other highly rated courses in the area are Shepperd's Hollow and the Majestic

Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
