Great design now that the course consists entirely of new holes. Fair but challenging with many memorable holes and shots. There are no homes and the course is actually very forgiving from most tee boxes. Approach shots are much more challenging, as you'll want to be on the correct section/level of the green. The greens also do not typically hold shots unless they are well struck. There are 4 holes that play around a quarry that are very spectacular. The routing does a good job of incorporating the quarry and some of the best terrain on both the front 9 as well as the back.
Conditioning is not the best, especially on the 10 new holes. All of the greens had tons of scars from ball marks. The fairways also had a tremendous amount of divots. Clearly word is out on how great this design is and the course is experiencing a lot of play. The older holes are much more lush and pristine, whereas the 10 new holes are very rough around the edges. If it ever grows in they could charge another $10-$15.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
