Wow, this is another course that I've played since I was 9 (now 41), but what used to be an enjoyable short, but tricky placement course has turned into a field. The fairways are rather splotchy, and the greens, well they are hard to describe, but I'll try. Think about thick shag carpet with all sorts of different types of yarn in various places. Some of the greens were completely unputtable unless you were dead on the pin. There are at least three different types of grass growing on them and some there had no grass at all. Where there was grass, they probably ranked a 5 on the stimpmeter. We joked about hitting a driver on the green to get the ball to the hole. After playing this last time, I told my wife that even if Tiger, Jack and Arnie were playing up there and needed me for a fourth, I would decline.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Better courses for less nearby, Worse than average course for the area
