I have played the course a lot in the last 2 years and it has continued to deteriorate. There is a new ownership, and I am not convinced that they are aggressively trying to bring the course back to previous conditions that made it a "must play" course. There have been issues with the staffing, and they seem to be operating with a skeleton crew...in other words....on a tight budget. Playership is down and you can generally play a pretty fast round. They need to get the course in superior condition this spring, and do some creative promoting to encourage patrons to return to the course. The day I played, there was still snow on the course (not their fault), and I just wanted to go play somewhere close to home. But, the ownership needs to make the course maintenance the highest priority, to allow them to charge a premium price. I love the course, will continue to play there, but I hate that it is not the premiere course that it was 5-6 years ago.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Difficulty, Layout, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Clubhouse
