I was fortunate enough to play this course on the last day that it was open for play before the WGC Match Play. As a result, it was in spectacular condition. The greens were smooth, firm and lightning fast. The rough was penal, but not impossible. It has some elevation and can stretch to 7600 yards, but has plenty of shorter tees for higher handicap golfer. If you select the proper tees, I don't see why a 15-20 handicapper couldn't enjoy the round. I'm a 4 and played from the tips, just as a lark and shot 86. Very isolated, high desert conditions, but plenty of grass. Highly recommended.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
