I played and loved this course when it was called Somerset Golf Club. It has made a triumphant and improved return!! Pace of play (played 18 in 3 hours) was awesome! Greens were surprisingly in great shape (a little slow for my taste)!! Fairways were great!! Tee boxes will need som TLC by next spring, but still were fine! Love the fact that they flipped the 9's. It makes for a different feel and approach to how you play the course. Once Bob Foster gets the pro shop into place, and with a little more advertising, Rapidan will become a premier place to play in the next year!!!!
