I play Peacock Gap a lot and like it. It is very walkable. It is also a good layout and the course, particularly the greens, are in great shape. Plus the $31 mid week senior walking rate is a bargain and it has grass hitting area and other practice areas. Cons - pace of play the last 6 months has been horrible. The marshals need to step up and move the offending groups along. Peacock has a horrible philosophy of timing the groups and then they say the slow group is on pace for a 4.5 hour round. But first they are wrong and second the only thing that makes sense is for every group to keep up with the group in front of them not have 2-3 holes open. Smaller issue is that the price of practice balls is exorbitant - $9 for a small bucket of 30 balls - way above even high Bay Area prices. They get away with it as the practice area is great with grass and they have no competition but it is still way too high.

Recent renovation really helped by eliminating most of the Micky Mouse greens. The layout change of a few years ago is good and now the course moves along well, is in good condition and a good value. And the grass driving rane is a plus.
