My friends and I always frequent the Gold Course. We greatly enjoy playing the course. Course is open, challenging, attractive and staff is always inviting to our groups from Crown Point. The bar and grill is outstanding. Would recommend highly. Even though we live in NW Indiana, we play many of the Illinois courses due to their quality and welcoming atmosphere. This is one of the best.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

I travel wit a group go good senior golfers from cp. We have already played 20 plus courses to date this season. We like Green a Garden Gold course a lot. We find it challenging and enjoyable to play. Greens are large and challenging as well. One of our favorite courses to play in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. We also enjoy he food and beverage afterwards. We normally play Coyote Run, Odyssey, heritage Bluffs and Cinder Ridge. All of these course along with Green Garden would be in our top tier. Green Garden Gold is links style with very open but yet challenging layout.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level

We, 12-16 people, travel every Wed to almost 50 different courses. This course is always one of our favorites. It is a public style links course but is very long, challenging and provides challenges to all from the many array of various tees. Water lurks on many holes and all of the greens are protected and no rolling on permitted. But throw it up in the air. Also, greens are very large and the layout is liked by our group. The course is always well manicured and the greens are challenging to all. Tee boxes were a bit beat up and some course management might be needed. The other =nice thing about this course is the food and drink in the clubhouse after play has ended. One of our top places to converse and just have fun. And, with a difficult and very nice golf course. Many courses are close to this course and we play all. Course would be The Odyssey, Coyote Run, Glenwoodie, Heritage Bluffs, Cinder Ridge. This would be included in quality with most of them. Would recommend highly.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
