Played this course on Th, June 7th. Took along 4 others with me who had never played the course. Three of the players were females who have game and one other was a senior like myself. The newbies really liked the course. I knew they would. Luckily, one of the females knew the pro and he discounted their rates down to senior rates of $35. The course is higher priced than most around us for seniors and others. Course and all was outstanding. We normally play the course 3-4 times each year and would play more if only lower rates could be extended. The views, challenge of the course, and facililties are all first class. I normally take my buddies to courses from all over from courses like Mystic Hills,Swan Lake, Sandy Pines to many courses in Illinois like Heritage Bluffs, Odyssey, Coyote Run and Green Garden to W. Layette such as Coyote Crossing and The Kampen to finally courses in Mi like Whitaker Woods. The views and challenges of this course are might be the finest of all. I would recommend highly.

Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level

I travel every week with a group of senior golfers from cp area. We have already played 20 plus courses to date. Two courses stand out in this area. One is Sandy Pines and the other is Lost Marsh. Lost marsh is demanding, great course layout, tremendous course ambiance with water and other and clubhouse. This is a top Chicago/Florida course in middle of NW Indiana. All my friends playing it first time all say "Oh my god" when walking and seeing first tee and group of holes. Clubhouse is outstanding in view and offerings. Negatives for us is that nothing is done to help with senior rates. Rate of $35 is highest of all courses we have played to date. Also, they were having trouble with a number of greens and critters on them. Only other suggestion to them is to be far more sociable with guests making them feel welcome wiith questions and small talk. Also coming out and asking after round and asking how all liked the course would help much.

A tremendous public course in an area would not expect it. A tremendous Frank Lloyd Wright Clubhouse that is better than any around NW Indiana. The course is called lost balls course. Water everywhere but views are majestic and course is so challenging. Our group travels every Wed and all fear this course but all like playing it. Target golf required with much water but the course is long and challenging. The NBA retired players played this course a short few years ago. Also, the women's lower LPGA groups played this course as well. Greens are gigantic and roll fast and are very undulating. Course is always well manicured and difficult. If you like challenges, this is the course. Our only negative is that the course cost our seniors $35 and others $55 during the week and that is expensive for many. I had special coupons allowing me and my guests to play for less that $20. I would recommend this course to all and well worth the money. Only Harbourside is nicer but almost 3 times more to play!!!!!
