Travel with my group of seniors and I live in CP. Have already played over 20 different quality courses this year to date. Have played White Hawk twice with each of the courses being paired on two separate dates. Course is enjoyable to play but rates are always high compared to other courses in this quality range. Nobody at front desk seems to be able to figure out special rates with various coupons. We always end up paying more than expected. Of all the courses we have played to date, this course in my own home town has been not very friendly or inviting. They treat you with total indifference. In bar eating area, prices are very high and members are treated far differently than others. Still like the course but they have an inflated view of the facilities and course. They need some social abilities in all aspects.

This course could be so good but still trying to find its niche. New owners are trying but course is at least a month behind others in preparation and clubhouse is still being redone. This could be a championship course and they charge membership rates in this category. It is in my own home town but yet many of my friends frequent course such as Odyssey, Coyote Run, Green Garden Gold, Heritage Bluffs in Ill and Swan Lake, Coyote Crossing, and Kampen in Indiana and Whitaker Woods in Mi. Would prefer to stay in town but still trying to get up to par with others listed above. Great pro in Steve Smead but past ownership has delayed all to new owners. They are going in right direction but not there as of yer. Would join with membership if only rates would be more acceptable. Course could be one of the finest in the state.
