Play was a little slow, but of course this was on Friday of Labor Day weekend so that might have been expected. Course was in excellent condition, some very nice views. Pretty wide open so if you do wind up in the woods you have a decent shot at getting out. I'll be back for sure.
Rock Hill is also a catering facility (weddings etc) so you'd think they'd have a decent place for lunch - however - all that's available is the "shack" at the turn, so after the round we drove over to Pine Hills CC for lunch. The burgers there are excellent.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
