The last two weeks were unseasonably warm for Georgia, this time of year. The highs were approaching 80. My Dad was visiting so we went and played golf at St. Marlo Country Club, Duluth, Georgia. Now any day of golf beats any day without golf, and I was with my Dad, so that being said, we had a great time. This is a good course, not a great course. The layout, condition of course, ambiance, mark this as a par or average, perhaps slightly above average course for the area. However the price was too much for what you got relative to other courses in the area. Average + course but at a price of a Excellent - course. They need a coupon for noon + on the weekends to bring the price in line with the average + golf venue they are selling.
