Minerva Lake Golf Course is a hidden gem in Columbus.
What's not to like? Mature trees, great varied layout, and a lot of elevation changes. The change in elevation can cofuse, the course plays longer that the scorecard indicates.
Miss-hit drives can leave you at the bottom of a valley leaving a difficult up-"hill" shot. The 18th hole is a wedge shot downhill to a green that sits 100 yards out. !00 yards downhill to a green seems easy, but over-hanging tree limbs penalize any ball not hit dead straight.
Combine a convenient location with a low price...like I said, what's not to like.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
