The course was in nice condition: fairways were good and the greens were very good. The biggest drawback to this course is the somewhat weird layout. Most of the holes are pretty typical par 3's and 4's, but a couple of the holes are so tight and obstructed that hitting a ball that can be found is mostly a crapshoot. Maybe playing the course again would help. Overall, though, I enjoyed the round and would play here again when I was in the Carmel/Monterey area. The course is certainly a better value than nearby Laguna Seca.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
