This course recently reopened after going a $3 million "renovation".
The renovation architect was Greg Martin. 14 new greens were constructed. Each new green is elevated with a big lip making it almost impossible to run the golf ball onto the green. The 17th green is so high the green can not be seen from the fairway, and the green itself is too narrow. All the green surfaces are very hard, making it impossible for the average player to hit as shot with enough spin to stop the ball on the green. All of these 'features' make it an impossible course for a senior player to enjoy. The fairways are poor with bare spots and lots of weeds The last negative is fees. It is way too overpriced compared to the other public courses in the area.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Better courses for less nearby
