We played this course last week and it is now a public course. My group plays about 15 different courses every year and this course rates at the top. The fairways, greens and rough are worthy of the private club it used to be. Even the bunkers were perfectly maintained. It is a not an easy course from the white tees as it plays around 6500 yards with lots of hilly holes and a meandering creek that comes into play frequently. It is also a scenic course with lots of memorable holes. We all added around 10 strokes to our normal scores but all four of us loved the course. We will play it again from the senior tees.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play, Staff, Clubhouse
