What a wonderful course, this has to be one of the best courses in Colorado. Nice layout, beautiful setting, a real treat. Pace of play was what I made it. I was never pushed and never caught up to two-some ahead until the 17th hole. Speaking of the 17th, what a magnificent view from the tee box.
I would have rated the value as a 5, but always feel a little cheated when I get one rate and locals get a lower rate. I can not help it, but it makes me feel like I am being taken advantage off and influences my perception of value. As I recall, had I been a county resident I would have paid about $30 less than the $85 I paid.
Bottom line, still a reasonable price for a great course, a beautiful course, achallenging course, a course in great condition, and a course that when you walk away you still think about the holes on the course and realize that this course provided memorable golf. That is one of my primary criteria for a great golf course.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
