I have to disagree with Frank, although in 2001, when only the back 9 was open, I did try to walk. Impossible.
I think this is the best municipal course in the state. Typical Brian Silva design.
Played many times while we lived in Boston. Very challenging and you must play it once to know where to hit upon your return.
This is one of my favorite courses in the northeast.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, Price, No Houses on Course, Staff
