$10 (cart included), played on Friday, April 2015 at 3:15 PM

Lots of blind tee shots and sharply sloped fairways. Humps and bumps and bunkers too. No trees to speak of, but heavy rough will keep play "focused" in your own fairway. A real topographical challenge, well laid out-a shame 9 more weren't possible. Greens need a bit of work but were quite puttable where the pins were cut today. Fairways average to good. Hard Winter and wet Spring has them behind on mowing, and traps need some TLC as well. Cart paths are wasted-major overhaul needed there, but no 90 rule either. Played at my own pace because there was no one else playing (Friday). Good driving range. Do not let the satellite/ map view fool you-it's not as simple as it looks. Paid 15 for cart and 9. I usually walk but the elevation changes quickly shifted my gears. Also, this was my first outing since balata covers and steel cleats were standards of shot makers. Hit enough good shots to get back into it. Hit enough bad shots to remember how long it's been. Enjoyed overall and will return to Collins River to keep tuning my game before tackling the fancy courses.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
