The Jewel is one of my favorite golf courses in southwest Minnesota. The front 9 is somewhat open, and flat. The back 9 winds through the woods, with a lot of elevation change. A very scenic yet challenging course, that has always been in great condition. I would suggest a 4 p.m tee time, you can likely get a $40 rate, and the back 9 at twilight, is a special place.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level
