Surprisingly interesting course for the area. Play is light most of day so you can show up without a starting time, tee right off and probably never have any play in front of you. Long from the white tees; very long from blue tees. Several long par 4s have prevailing wind (south) at your back. When wind is out of north, these holes are brutal. Condition is erratic, as would be expected given the climate - hot, very little rain. I have played there about 10 times over the last 3-4 years and the condition was never so bad as to make the round unenjoyable. On my most recent round (August, 2021) greens were rolling very well. This is a no frills golf course. Not sexy, but most holes are interesting and many are challenging. Only one short four par on course. Not much water. No water carries from tees. Two holes have water directly in front of green - one is quite hard. Scattered trees throughout course. Not heavily wooded but not open pasture either.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
Pace of Play, Difficulty, Layout, No Houses on Course
