I have been playing my home course, the Seal Beach Navy Golf Course often since 1985 and weekly on Fridays since 2006. The course is immaculate. The Tees are excellent. The Fairways are excellent. The Greens are exceptional. The only complaint in the last couple of years is that the water hazards have been lowered to drain water from them for time to time to add water to another nearby water hazard because of the draught conditions that Southern California has been suffering. Until 2006, only military golfers and their guests were allowed to play the Seal Beach NGC. It was opened to the Public at that time which has made it less exclusive but has added revenue form the additional players from the public golfers. I play early in the morning to beat the rush. The GPS has been recently removed from the 200 electric golf carts which have all just been newly replaced. The 9 Hole Cruiser Course is alos in great shape for the older golfer who still likes to walk the course. LCDR Dal Trader USN (Ret)
