This is a very nice course; combine it with the red side and you have a wonderful 18 holes. The problem for the facility is it was not designed or built by Donald Ross in 1925. The Red side was built in 1914 and opened in 1915, the white side construction began in 1923. The architect who designed those 9 holes and rearranged the Red side layout was WC Jackson of Chicago. All of this was widely reported over a 3 year period by the Hamilton Evening Journal. Why they continue to advertise what it is not is beyond me, as it's a very nice facility.
