I live in the area - if my buddies wanted to do a central Indiana golf trip we would play Purgatory, Prairie View, Rock Hollow and Trophy Club. Maybe throw in Heartland Crossing. Honorable Mention to Fort Harrison and The Brickyard.
Purgatory is pretty unique. Hard but interesting - with some birdie opportunities. My most recent round was very early and very uncrowded. Conditions were excellent. This is a tough golf course - but fair if you are a decent golfer.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
