Cedar Ridge Golf Course is a Public 18 holes golf course located in Decatur, Alabama.
Cedar Ridge Golf Course first opened for play in 1975. The course was designed by Neal Holland.
The front nine has several water hazards, while the back nine is loaded with trees. Six water hazards come into play on eleven holes. The undulating greens are medium in size and speed. The terrain is basically flat, but there are some mounds that can affect your shots.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 5,913 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,303 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 515 Yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 12, a 515 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Cedar Ridge is # 8, a 274 yard par-4.
Cedar Ridge Golf Course closed in 2014. It’s now officially home to the new Austin High school.
